AppTask supported the Department of Social Work and Social Administration of The University of Hong Kong (HKU) to achieve the goals of the Jockey Club Family Emotional Resilience Project. Through the implementation of the website and mobile applications (iOS / Android), psychological assessments and self-learning programmes were made available for those who are keen to improve individual mental health status and acquire skills for coping with personal difficulties and problem solving.

Kwai Tsing District Health Centre (KTDHC) was launched in 2019, with a mission to strengthen primary healthcare service in Kwai Tsing district and enhance public awareness of chronic disease prevention. AppTask developed the official website with an age-friendly design that allows users of all ages (especially seniors) to easily navigate and find the information they need. After the successful launch, AppTask continues to work with KTDHC to bring new features to the website.

Case management is the first solutions provide Senior Citizen Home Safety Association (SCHSA) team with program administration, resource allocation, process tracking and planning evaluation, which is carried out by AppTask. This project aims to build a common platform to share eHealth related information between NGO and SCHSA or other related parties.

Jockey Club Good Hand Easy Match Alliance (or “Good Hand”) is a service matching platform established in 2016, supported by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. It is a digital platform that provides real time matching of home care services including elderly care, escort for medical appointments, rehabilitation training, household cleaning, etc.
Participating partners are NGOs and social enterprises in Hong Kong that share the vision of providing quality home care services for the community.
The diversified services of the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (TWGHs) have kept pace with times. We have taken care of the different needs of the public for many years and allowed us to accumulate a set of wisdom and experience in life that we have shared with the general public through the “TWGHs app”. The four columns with “TWGHs Hot Tips”, including “Life is Fun”, “Health & Fitness” and “Smart Parents”, deliver lifestyle information, physical & mental health knowledge and parenting tips, meeting the needs of you and your family.
The “TWGHs iPhone App” specifically introduces the service location search function, coordinates with the GPS system, and instantly displays nearby service units and hotlines with user friendly interface. The map marking function enables user to locate different service units of the TWGHs at any time.
Flag-bag Easy is an online system and mobile apps designed to assist NGOs to manage the flag bags effectively. This project is organized by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service and carried out by AppTask backend admin portal for the registered service centers,
interviewees, and facilitators.

Under this project, AppTask helped develop a E-Health Well Being Survey App, which is designed for the elderly with a view to detecting the health and social needs of the elderly for follow up. This survey app enables interviewees to register and answer the questions, allows the facilitators to conduct the survey and control the pace of the survey, and provides a backend admin portal for the registered service centers, interviewees, and facilitators.

Evention is honored to participate in the charity event “助言起行 一步,幫一生2017”, which is organized by Benji’s Centre. Under this project, Evention helped develop a one stop and complete event solution which covered pre-event, at-event and post-event.

The Asia Diabetes Foundation is a charitable institution registered in Hong Kong, and a subsidiary of the Chinese University of Hong Kong Foundation, with a mission to achieve positive impacts in the better understanding and care of diabetes and other chronic diseases. AppTask was honored to participate in the development of the Risk Understanding By Yourself (RUBY) system allows users to assess their risk score for diabetes. This risk score is based on simple questions that can be answered without visiting a medical professional. The calculation of the risk score was verified from a study using three cohorts of subjects. On a scale of 0 to 30 (where 30 is the highest level), a score of 16 or above indicates that a user should visit a medical doctor to undergo an oral glucose tolerance test.
The “ e-See Find” app allows designated friends and relatives to view the approximate location of the “Safety Clock” service host. This app allows the young generation and children take care of the elderly in their busy lives.
